Knock! Knock!

Knock! Knock!

We provide two plant trays curated by our experts. Please note that your plants will not ship at full size. This allows for the plants reach to your door safely and ready to flourish. You will need two planters 14-16” in diameter, potting mix to plant the trays, and plant food to keep your plants strong. We recommend Miracle Gro® Potting Mix and Miracle Gro® Plant Food for the best results.

Our experts are true botany nerds who make sure your plants aren't just beautiful on the outside, but that they have unique, sturdy genetics so they're super-easy to take care of once they get to your door. These experts are matchmakers, too. When they create your arrangement, in addition to style they're choosing plants with growth rates and bloom timing that complement each other.|Yes, Knock! Knock! is based in the United States. Get in touch, we'd love to hear from you.

The plants arrive already arranged, in a tray with soil. Press the tray into the soil at the top of the planter to make an indentation. Lift out and recycle the plastic tray and nestle the arrangement into the planter. Repeat with the other tray and planter. Water the plants as directed.

Depending on the planter you use, you may need to fill it with enough potting soil so your new plants sit comfortably just beneath the rim. We recommend using Miracle-Gro® Potting Mix.

The planter should be at least 14” in diameter, and ideally no more than 16” in diameter.

Just like their climate preferences, different plants thrive with different amounts of sun. Give them too much or not enough and you might end up with leaves that are scorched and crispy, growth that is stretched and thin, or fewer flowers than expected. If your plants are partial to "Full Shade," that means they only like 3-4 hours of direct sunlight each day, and, not to get picky about it, but preferably morning sunlight. Plants that like "Partial Sun" thrive when they get 4-6 hours of direct sun each day. And those that want "Full Sun" will be happiest with 6 or more hours of direct sunlight each day. Not sure what your plant prefers? The plant care card that comes with your delivery has all the answers.

Try to water in the morning, if possible. Wet leaves can encourage pests or disease, especially at night, so an early sprinkle gives your plants plenty of time to dry during the day.|* Plant the combinations the day you receive them, and give the plants a thorough watering. When the top inch of soil feels dry or the plants begin to wilt, water them again. Feed the plants with Miracle-Gro® plant food after about 4 weeks. Note that plant care will vary from shipment to shipment. The plant care card that comes with your delivery has all the answers.

The clamshell containers the plants are shipped in are made from 100% recycled plastic and are recyclable. Check with your local community to determine whether they can be placed in your curbside collection bin or dropped off at a centralized location.

Don't sweat this one! Our experts know the weather in your ZIP code. They make sure your arrangements only include plants that thrive in your climate. Just keep an eye on temps that are higher than normal. If your weather forecaster makes a fuss about the heat then know that your arrangements may wilt and need water more frequently.

Dead-heading is the name for snipping, cutting, or removing flowers that have already bloomed and are starting to individually decline. Dead-heading is a common practice for many flowering plants, as it not only makes the plant look cleaner but also encourages the plant to divert its energy to making more flowers instead of producing a seed head. Refer to your specialized care card for instructions on how to dead-head and if it's a method that you should employ on your plants.
