HOW OFTEN SHOULD I WATER? SHOULD I USE BAD SPOT OR GOOD BOY BEFORE OR AFTER IT RAINS? WHAT SETTINGS SHOULD I USE FOR THE SPREADER?

Knock! Knock!

What comes with a Knock! Knock! box?

We provide two plant trays curated by our experts. Please note that your plants will not ship at full size. This allows for the plants reach to your door safely and ready to flourish. You will need two planters 14-16” in diameter, potting mix to plant the trays, and plant food to keep your plants strong. We recommend Miracle Gro® Potting Mix and Miracle Gro® Plant Food for the best results.

How do we pick specific plants to be tested?|Are you based in the US?

Our experts are true botany nerds who make sure your plants aren't just beautiful on the outside, but that they have unique, sturdy genetics so they're super-easy to take care of once they get to your door. These experts are matchmakers, too. When they create your arrangement, in addition to style they're choosing plants with growth rates and bloom timing that complement each other.|Yes, Knock! Knock! is based in the United States. Get in touch, we'd love to hear from you.

How do I plant my arrangements?

The plants arrive already arranged, in a tray with soil. Press the tray into the soil at the top of the planter to make an indentation. Lift out and recycle the plastic tray and nestle the arrangement into the planter. Repeat with the other tray and planter. Water the plants as directed.

Do I need soil for the planter?

Depending on the planter you use, you may need to fill it with enough potting soil so your new plants sit comfortably just beneath the rim. We recommend using Miracle-Gro® Potting Mix.

How big does my planter need to be?

The planter should be at least 14” in diameter, and ideally no more than 16” in diameter.

What are lighting conditions, anyway?

Just like their climate preferences, different plants thrive with different amounts of sun. Give them too much or not enough and you might end up with leaves that are scorched and crispy, growth that is stretched and thin, or fewer flowers than expected. If your plants are partial to "Full Shade," that means they only like 3-4 hours of direct sunlight each day, and, not to get picky about it, but preferably morning sunlight. Plants that like "Partial Sun" thrive when they get 4-6 hours of direct sun each day. And those that want "Full Sun" will be happiest with 6 or more hours of direct sunlight each day. Not sure what your plant prefers? The plant care card that comes with your delivery has all the answers.

When is the best time to water plants? How do I care for my plants?

Try to water in the morning, if possible. Wet leaves can encourage pests or disease, especially at night, so an early sprinkle gives your plants plenty of time to dry during the day.|* Plant the combinations the day you receive them, and give the plants a thorough watering. When the top inch of soil feels dry or the plants begin to wilt, water them again. Feed the plants with Miracle-Gro® plant food after about 4 weeks. Note that plant care will vary from shipment to shipment. The plant care card that comes with your delivery has all the answers.

I'm worried about being environmentally friendly in shipping. What is your packaging made of?

The clamshell containers the plants are shipped in are made from 100% recycled plastic and are recyclable. Check with your local community to determine whether they can be placed in your curbside collection bin or dropped off at a centralized location.

How will my plants fare in hot weather?

Don't sweat this one! Our experts know the weather in your ZIP code. They make sure your arrangements only include plants that thrive in your climate. Just keep an eye on temps that are higher than normal. If your weather forecaster makes a fuss about the heat then know that your arrangements may wilt and need water more frequently.

What is dead-heading and should I do it?

Dead-heading is the name for snipping, cutting, or removing flowers that have already bloomed and are starting to individually decline. Dead-heading is a common practice for many flowering plants, as it not only makes the plant look cleaner but also encourages the plant to divert its energy to making more flowers instead of producing a seed head. Refer to your specialized care card for instructions on how to dead-head and if it's a method that you should employ on your plants.

What do I do if my tracking says delivered but I have not received my arrangement yet?

Hard to enjoy your arrangements if they're not there — no matter what the tracking info says. Since our expertise is all about your beautiful arrangements, we rely on an external carrier for everything related to delivery. Once your order leaves our greenhouse, we can't be accountable for lost, stolen, or mis-delivered shipments. So your first move is to contact the carrier to see if they can find your order. If that doesn't work, please reach out to our customer service team. Call or text them at 1-866-771-5349 and they'll work with you to make things right.

Why do my plants not ship fully grown?

Our arrangements aren't just centerpieces at your cousin's wedding that you can sneak out the door and enjoy for a day or two. We want them to have a long and fabulous life outside your door, so we time the growth and shipping of each arrangement so it reaches its peak growth stage right after you receive it.

If my plants arrive and they look a little tired after their trip, what should I do?

We recommend that you take a photo, then plant and water them as directed. Let them get used to their new surroundings for 5 days. If they don’t perk up, take another photo and get in touch with us. We’ll make sure you’re happy.

If I'm not happy with my plants, can I get a refund?

For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, if you contact us within 10 days of the shipment date with pictures, we will happily reship your arrangement, if applicable. If you contact us after the 10 day time period with a picture of a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we will provide a credit for a future season, if applicable. Otherwise, all sales are final. These shipments are non-refundable or exchangeable. If there are any complications with your Knock! Knock! shipment, call or text us at 866-771-5349 for assistance. We’d love to help!

What do I do if my accessories arrive damaged?

Don’t worry, we’ll take care of it! Snap a picture of the damage, then call or text our customer service team at 1-866-771-5349. They’ll be sure everything comes into full bloom.

How long does it take to return my accessory?

Returns are processed once they arrive back at our warehouse. From there, it takes 3 to 5 business days for your account to be credited. Remember that you’re responsible for return shipping, so choose the carrier and cost that suits you best. Don’t forget to ask for tracking information!
