- Ingredients: Mix of perennial ryegrass, fine fescue, and Kentucky bluegrass
- Covers up to 5,600 sq. ft. of an existing lawn, 1,865 sq. ft. of a new lawn.
- Designed to be applied in spring (April-May) or fall (late August-September), when temperatures are consistently between 60-80° so soil is warm enough to help seed germinate and grow.
- Bag is 25% bio-based renewable plastic made from sugarcane.
- Ideal for cool-season grass types in northern regions.
- Safe to use around kids and pets, when used as directed.
How to Use
Directions for Reseeding:Prep your lawn by mowing it low and bagging up the cuttings to help the seed reach the soil.For best results, use the instead™ Go Getter™ Spreader to apply the seed to your lawn. When using the instead™ Go Getter™ Spreader, adjust the spreader setting to 5.Lightly rake the grass seed so that it rests just beneath the top layer of soil.Water your lawn, making sure to keep the soil surface moist until the seed grows at least 2 inches tall. This means watering it at least once a day, or more often if the weather is hot, dry, or windy.Directions for a New Lawn:Prep the soil by loosening the top layer of soil and removing anything that will get in the way of your seed touching the soil.For the best results, use the instead™ Go Getter™ Spreader to apply the seed. When using the instead™ Go Getter™ Spreader, adjust the spreader setting to 8.5.Lightly rake the seed into the soil.Water your soon-to-be new lawn enough to keep the soil surface moist until the seed grows at least 2 inches tall. This means watering it at least once a day, or more often if the weather is hot, dry, or windy.
